Randy’s career has been marked by visionary leadership and a passion for health care. His career spans 37 years, 33 of those years serving as a CEO. He has held CEO positions at independent rural hospitals, a hospital association, a graduate medical education program and university president. He was the first non-physician CEO of the GME program and the first non-traditional president of a university in Michigan.

His accomplishments are shaped by driving organizational change through innovative thinking needed to help organizations navigate change and realize their desired futures. He is particularly talented at bringing diverse constituents, stakeholders, and team members together at all levels to cooperatively pursue shared visions in fresh and novel ways.

Now a healthcare consultant,Randy applies his 30+ years of CEO experience supporting leaders, boards, and organizations. His programs also include offering new ways to think about behavioral healthcare, including addressing the opioid crisis, that will support reinventing how we deliver care. Randy’s professional passion was shaped growing-up in a rural community in Ohio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati and a master’s degree in health care administration from St. Louis University. He and his wife Laura, of 29 years, have lived in Ada, Michigan for 19 years raising their sons Harrison and Clayton, who are now pursuing their careers.
