Fred Lee wrote the seminal work on the patient experience with his book, If Disney Ran Your Hospital – 9 ½ Things You Would Do Differently which went on to win the prestigious ACHE book of the year. It has been the top-selling healthcare book on the patient experience for the past decade and a half. The book has been published in five languages and Fred went on to become an international lecturer speaking to healthcare audiences around the world. Fred passed away of complications from neuro-surgery due to glioblastoma March 26, 2017.

His colleagues continue his message through Compassion & Empathy in Healthcare.
