Diane Sieg, RN, CYT, CSP

As a professional speaker, published author, former Emergency room nurse, certified yoga teacher, and life coach Diane Sieg will give you life-saving strategies by showing you how to take care of yourself, take charge of your life, and take action! With high energy and heartfelt stories, her opening keynote sets a positive tone to start your meeting or her closing keynote ends your conference with a bang, sending your group home with a clear and strong message about the importance of life balance and self care. Audience members leave with the permission and practical skills they need to be more authentic, productive, and balanced in every area of their lives.

More about this speaker:

As an emergency room nurse for over 20 years, Diane Sieg has seen it all. The 40-year-old executive who fell asleep at the wheel because she was too tired. The electrician with 80 percent of his body burned because he got too distracted. The young mother of four who ignored the lump in her breast the size of a grapefruit!

So many of the patients Diane treated had one common denominator - they were trying to do too much, too fast, too often.  All were living in chaos!

Although she literally put people back together in the ER, she has always been more interested in empowering people to breakthrough and take care of themselves before they break down. As a professional speaker since 1996, she has spoken to thousands of men and women in health care, sales, banking and women’s conferences. She has also been involved in the health and fitness field for over 20 years, as a lifesaving coach, seminar leader, personal trainer, and fitness instructor teaching everything from kick-boxing to her current passion, yoga.
Diane wrote her first book, STOP Living Life Like an Emergency, because she wanted to illustrate how so many of us were living in such a frenetic state of more, better, faster.  While very close to this material as a nurse and as your typical overachiever, in recent years, life events have allowed her to go deeper with her personal journey.  Her most recent work focuses on teaching people how to move from chaos to calm by increasing their awareness and setting their intentions with a daily practice.

Her Chaos to Calm 30-day Resilience Challenge (Included with most presentations)

Professional memberships include the National Speakers Association, National Speakers Association-Colorado, Colorado Author’s League, American Association of Lifestyle Counselors and the Sigma Theta Tau Honorary Nursing Organization.  I am grateful to be so well-connected with the professional relationships and personal support that have made writing Voice Lessons possible.

Diane holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, the highest certification for a speaking professional, earned by less than 10% of the professional speakers in the world.
Diane has lived in Colorado for the past 20 years and can’t imagine living anywhere else. She loves to be outside as much as she can. She stays sane and active with yoga, gardening, hiking, and biking.

Program Reviews:

“You have the wonderful ability to engage the audience by being yourself and not forcing extra energy into the presentation just because you’re the keynote. Your approach and delivery is refreshing. I can’t think of the last time a keynote made me feel both calm and energized versus receiving a quick “gotta get ‘er done” jolt. I guess it the difference between feeling awake because you got a good night’s rest versus an infusion of caffeine in the morning”.

"Thank you for being the speaker at the PCPCC meeting last week.  I really enjoyed it and would like to try the breathing exercise with my management staff.  Your presentation was terrific--very relaxing".

"I really enjoyed your presentation and exercises at the Western Region PCPCC conference in Denver last week.  Please let me know more about the Mindfulness training".
Doug Rossier, PCPCC

"WOW.  You changed my life today.  I came to this conference feeling stressed out and overwhelmed and within the first couple of minutes of the practice you lead us through, I felt an unbelievable release.   Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you".
Primary Care Physician, PCPCC
